Frequently Asked Questions

How much space will I need?

You will need 2ft extra on either side of the bouncy castle and 5ft at the back for the blower. You will also need approximately 3ft in front of the castle for the mat, and to ensure that there is enough space to get on and off the castle safely.

What type of surface do I need?
We can only set up on grass externally. We do ask for the area to be clear from anything that could damage the castle, such as sharp objects, glass, stones, overhanging branches, dog mess etc..

Can the castles go indoors?

Our castles can be used in halls and other indoor venues, although they require a minimum 12 ft ceiling height, depending on the inflatable you hire. If you book a castle before ensuring the area meets our requirements, we reserve the right not to erect the castle if we believe it to be dangerous or unsuitable. If this happens, we require 50% of the booking fee to be paid by the hirer.

What happens if it rains?
All of our castles come with sewn-in raincovers and so children will be protected during light rain. If it does begin to rain heavily, the castle will need to be turned off and deflated. Please check the forecast the day before your booking date as we do not charge a cancellation fee prior to delivery.

Do you offer a free delivery service?
Yes, we deliver the bouncy castle free of charge to many of our local areas. Please see our Delivery page to see whether we charge to deliver to your area. If you do not see your area listed, please contact us for a free, no obligation quote.

What time do you deliver the bouncy castle?
We begin delivering at anytime after 8am and usually collect from 5pm. We ask for a responsible adult to be at home at the time of delivery.

What is the Disclaimer?
When we deliver the castle, you will be required to sign the Disclaimer Form to say that you have fully read and understood the Terms and Conditions of Hire and safety aspects.

Is all your equipment safety tested?
All of our castles have current RPII safety tags and certificates. The extension leads will all have RCD plugs fitted and all electrical equipment is PAT tested annually.

Are 1st Class Bouncy Castles insured?

Yes. We have £5m Public Liability Insurance which would cover any accidents which were our fault, such as equipment failure or failing to install the inflatable properly. You are responsible for the supervision of the inflatable during the hiring period. We cannot be held liable for any injuries caused whilst the castle is in your care. You are the sole person responsible for the castle and it's use.

It is therefore your responsibility, if you wish/require, to take out ONE DAY FULL Public Liability. This is especially important for public events, and can cost as little as £10 from leisure insurance companies. Please contact us to find out more details.

Would you take the Bouncy Castle through the house to get into the back garden?
Yes, at the household owners risk if there is no back gate in use. Bouncy castles are rather bulky and large when deflated. We can only manage going up or down a few steps, as the castles are very heavy! Please call us to discuss specific widths.

How does the castle stay up?
We use an electric blower, which stays on continually while the castle is in use. We will need access to a power supply within 50 feet of the castle. The castle takes about 30 minutes to set up and 30 minutes to pack away.

When and how do I pay?
We ask for a small bacs deposit of around £20 depending on the total products you are hiring. The balance is then due in cash on delivery of the castle/soft play.

How do I book?
You can enquire online, or contact us by e-mail or phone. You will find our details on the Enquiry Form page.‚Äč
