TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE
It is the responsibility of you as the hiree to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the inflatable. Please ensure that the following safety instructions are followed:
1) As the hiree, you will be required to read, agree and sign our hire agreement. The person signing this must over the age of 18.
2) No food, drinks or chewing gum is to be consumed on the inflatable (to avoid choking & mess). Hirees may incur a cleaning charge if the castle has been left in a dirty condition.
3) All shoes, badges, jewellery, (i.e. large earrings, necklaces etc.) MUST be removed. It is recommended that spectacles are also removed.
4) No face-paints, party-poppers, coloured streamers or "silly string" must be used
near or on the inflatable, as they can make a terrible mess and permanently stain
the unit.
5) No smoking or barbeques near the inflatable.
6) Climbing, hanging, or sitting on the walls is VERY DANGEROUS and must not be allowed. Children are not permitted to do somersaults on or from the bouncy castle.
7) A responsible adult must SUPERVISE THE INFLATABLE and those using it at all times, no matter what age the children may be.
8) Ensure that the inflatable is not overcrowded, and limit the numbers depending on age and size of children using it. If the children are colliding into each other then it is too crowded. Please refer to the castle intructions which specifies the maximum number of users and maximum user height.
9)Try to avoid large children and small children from using the inflatable at the same time. Some children require strict supervision.
10) No pushing, fighting or colliding is allowed on the bouncy castles. The supervising adult/s must ensure that all children are playing safely to avoid injuring themselves and other users.
11) Pets, toys or sharp instruments should be kept well away from the bouncy castle.
12) If the inflatable is not being used for any part of the day, please switch the
blower off at the mains - this will reduce your electric bill!
13) Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front step, as children could easily bounce off the inflatable and get hurt. The step is there to help users get on and off only.
14) Ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems are allowed on the
inflatable. Any child feeling unwell, should also refrain from using the castle.
15) Do not allow users to be on the unit during inflation or deflation, as this is dangerous.
16) Keep users away from them the blower and electrical cables at all times.
17) In the event of heavy rain, it is the hiree's responsibility to switch the inflatable
off. Any wetness, including bubbling can be dried with a towel. A small picnic table
placed over the blower, will help prevent rain-water being sucked into the blower,
and then into the inflatable.
18) The blower at the back has a safety reset button. In the event that it overheats, or loses power, please ensure that all users get off the castle straight away. Switch the blower off at the mains, and then switch it back on again 1 or 2 minutes later, and it should restart. If it does not, or there is a power cut, inform us IMMEDIATELY.
19) Ensure that the vent on the side of the blower is kept clear at all times.
20) Before booking, please ensure that you have enough space for the inflatable, including an extra 2 ft of completely clear ground, of either side of the unit and at least 4 ft at the rear and front of the castle. The surface must be fully grassed if outside. We do not set up on tarmac or concrete for safety reasons.
21) Each unit has a max age/height specified. As the hiree, you must ensure that the restrictions are adhered to, so that potential accidents/damage can be avoided.
22) We reserve the right to cancel any hire agreement if we consider the weather to be unfit for inflatable use. The castle must not be used in high winds (24mph +) or heavy rain.
23) Our delivery/collection times are approximate. Whilst we make every effort to keep to agreed times, we cannot be held responsible for unexpected delays.
24) For overnight hire: please note that we require 2 forms of identification (i.e. Passport/driving licence and utility bill) on delivery of the castle and a returnable cash deposit. Please contact us for more details.
All castles and slides are suitable for outdoor and indoor venues.
